Like many others I have determined checking your stats is the biggest time waster in internet marketing. For those of us who make a living in internet marketing,  full time checking stats interferes with productivity. I need to be productive with every minute spent at the computer and so do you. Two things can happen when you check stats, and both of them are bad, and will affect your bottom line. Let me explain.

1. You check your stats and they are awful

As most of you can tell my becoming a full time internet marketer has affected my posting on this site. It is an issue I hope to overcome soon. I currently work… 12-15 hours a day, sometimes more. Before we go much further along here, let me assure you I have never enjoyed something so much, so fast, so as for the hours , its all good. I am adjusting to my new work at home career and I am adjusting my BANS site as needed.

BANS Domain Selection, Cheaper Not Always Better

As everyone knows getting an info domain indexed these days is quite the challenge. I own 40 or so myself and I continue to get links for them. I know one day they will be indexed. There are many people trying different methods and with some success. Installing a blog ahead of your BANS site seems to be the most popular. However, I want to talk more about buying existing domains. Yeah I know it is more expensive. Just hold on to that thought for a minute, and if you just don’t have the money, I understand.

istock_000004180692xsmall.jpgSome of you may be familiar with the phrase Fish or Cut Bait. Here is the south we love these catchy little phrases. For the un-informed it means, either continue in a productive manner or desist entirely. Similar in meaning to ‘put up or shut up’ That time for myself and my home based business is now. Making Sales and Making Money has taken on a new meaning for this internet entrepreneur. Within the next week or so, I am resigning from my job with the U.S Government to pursue a life of full time internet marketing.

Last January I sent to a Newsletter to my subscribers telling them of my plans for the year . It included setting up 25 sites by years end. Folks I was wrong , I now have 75 , including Bans sites, niche site and the supporting infrastructure. It has been a lot of work but not as much as it could have been were it not for some tools I have added to my home based business. I use Social Bookmaking Software, Directory Submitter , Keyword Elite and SEO Elite . All have served me well. I would like to introduce what has been to this point the best online business software I have purchased. Niche Store Writer , developed by Dave Kingston.

Embracing Adversity in Your Business or Your Life

istock_000003830772xsmall.jpgYou might be thinking how can adversity be a tool for my home based business? On the surface it doesn’t sound right does it? The fact is if you have not faced adversity in your home based business, you will. It may happen today, tomorrow or sometime down the road, but be sure, it’s coming. How you deal with that adversity, is really the issue at hand. Show me someone who has done something worthwhile, and I’ll show you someone who has overcome adversity. What may seem like adversity to you, may not to others, but we all have a threshold that is going to get crossed. We have choices. We can react , usually with negative results, or we can respond, usually with a positive result.

About Confidence - Steps To Boost

Posted on May 4, 2008

confidence Being confident is an attribute many of us lack. Some people are over confident in whatever they do which could easily be seen as bordering on arrogant, while others are ever afraid of taking pro-active measures and the more they hesitate, the lower their confidence level sinks.

While I might come across a very confident writer, I can tell you this. I am. The thing is, that when we feel good about what we do, then confidence comes naturally. We are filled with euphoria and when we feel good, we also feel confident.

Its The Business We Have Chosen

istock_000005558176xsmall.jpgThis week I added some 50 + sites to my home based business. My friends it’s a lot of work. Please don’t let anyone tell you it is not. My sleep pattern is , well, not a sleep pattern at all. My girlfriend has helped me as she is a part of the process. My dog thinks I have forgotten him and probably wonders if I am ever going to come out of my home based business office. My hope is that we will all soon be reaping the rewards of our sacrifices, but at the end of the day, it’s the business we have chosen.

The Missing Ingredient: Customer Service

What happened to good old customer service in our world? I mean really, is it possible that while we spend our hard earned money these days we can’t expect something in return. Some dignity. Some friendliness. Some service.

customer service

I really wonder what has become of our 21st century, because just about everywhere I go these days, customer service isn’t existent anymore.

Last week I was skyped by one of my clients who runs a blog. He skyped me to thank me for taking part in his blog’s conversations and interacting with his readers. Naturally you can imagine that I was very much pleased he did this, since commenting is part of my professional blogging services.

So You Want Writing To Be Your Niche?

Home based business opportunitiesSometime back in late March I wrote an article about the lure of easy money. I ended the post with an offer to help anyone with a dream and desire to establish a home based business. I heard from a few WAHM’s, a graphic designer, and some others with different ideas and dreams of the kind of home based business they wanted to start. I generally start my interview by asking them to list a few things about themselves and their passions. From that list, we work together to narrow it down to a list of one. The common theme I found in most all of the inquiries, with the possible exception of one or two, was that they all said they were writers and most of them had writing on their list of ways to monetize to make money online.

One Man’s Goal… Score! One Man Scammed

Posted on April 12, 2008

Another Make Money online blog has been sold. One Mans Goal netted Bryan Clark 10 LARGE from a young man named Marc Galeazzi. There isn’t a law to protect the innocent from such assaults, but maybe there should be. It is a dog eat dog world and we all know that, but somehow I feel like a pit bull just ate a puppy. What wrong with this picture?

Number one, by his own admission the new owner states he knows nothing about WordPress. That’s a curious statement as a stand alone, but I can hear the previous owner saying, no worries mate, you can learn it in a week and you will be on your way!
